remember when

that seemed to be theme for 4th of july this year. unlike years past, i spent the 4th at my kuya's house in otay ranch (chula vista for those who dont know). i know i know. it's blasphemy that i didnt make it to the rec this year, ya'll know that family comes first. especially if cousins are visiting from guam for the summer and there's a new baby in the family. we were one big family again. i like that. i miss that. it's nice to have everyone hang out again. most of time was spent eating and talking about old times and the cousins making fun of my brother and i for the music videos we used to make and all the times we would get bossed around (which come to think of it, still happens today).

its weird comparing the way my brother and i were to my godson and my other little cousin. the two of them are about the same age difference my brother and i are and the difference between the little cousins and i are about the same as my older cousins and i. the interactions are soooo much different. the kids are A LOT more rough than my brother and i ever were, but its fun...they give me a work out. haha

so now im here at work. boring. im waiting for my cousins to call because im supposed to be having lunch with them. thank god im in the other building right now cuz i shouldnt be doing this. seriously, i know everyone's been saying this but having a holiday in the middle of the week SUCKS ASSSSSSSSSS
