great weekend now im pooped

this weekend was one of the funnest weekends i've had in a while. not that the past weekends havent been fun, but this was one was just emm.....eventful.

saturday i hit up downtown with jrew and sandy to meet up with jackie's family for some tailgating and then the padre game. jackie said her family was gonna be there by 2 so we got there around 3. little did we know they were running behind...like a couple hours. so the three of us did some walking around downtown. after getting a beer at trophy's the three of us headed over to jackie's family. did a lil' eating, had a couple beers then headed to the game....we lost...boooo. after the game we headed to the J-bar to celebrate jeff's 28th birthday. yay for drunken fun...hehehe

sunday after 3 hours of sleep i woke up and got ready for 830 mass with the family. after mass we headed over to my grandparents house and went to brunch at the Hotel del Coronado. DAMN THAT WAS GOOD. mom and lola approved. they were happy and thats all that mattered. after brunch we did some hanging out then we finally went home and i crashed...wow do i love my sleep.

so this week im taking wednesday off. my brother made the dean's list and we're going to the little ceremony thingy. its not til 4 but hey its a good enough reason for me to want to take the day off. then saturday is my brother's actually graduation. dinner with the family then after...hmm i dunno. so i guess this week is all about my brother. haha but then again in his mind everday is all about genesis velarde.
