weird christmas

we went up to L.A. to my uncle's house for christmas. it was like 80 degrees. what a weird christmas. we found out one of my cousins eloped ealier this year. SURPRISE! oh and coming home from watching blood diamond, we almost died cuz my cousin's break were out! oh man the feeling of watching someone floor the breaks and your car is still moving IS SOOOOO SCARY. thank god we didnt get on the main road or the freeway before my cousin realized something was wrong with his car.

overall this years christmas was good. very drama free. it just went by so fast. now the year is about to end. i guess i'll write about that later. until then.

dude that chick is crazy..

she always thinks we're harassing her, but i swear she puts it upon herself. haha if you knew her you'd do it too! but its not even harassment its more like a bombardment of questions constantly thrown at her. the qc department is going to ROCK BOTTOM at la jolla tomorrow after work to do our lil christmas thing and our white elephant gift exchange and because we all know that she has a lack of driving skills we keep asking her if she wants a ride. her response, for the last week, has been,(in a nasally voice with eyes squinting)"eehhhh i dont know if im going. its too far, i dont know where it is! im gonna get lost...blah blah blah" REMEMBER PEOPLE THAT ROCK BOTTOM IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM UCSD WHERE SHE WENT TO SCHOOL AND GRADUATED FROM!! and mind you that the restuarant is not far from the 805! the freeway she needs to go home! ANNNNNNNNNNND i offered to not drink to drive her home if she felt uncomfortable which seriously would not be in the way cuz i can always hang out at my cousin's new place. SHE'S NUTS I TELL YOU! so finally after a week of so-called, "HARRASSMENT" i told her today that if she's gonna keep acting like that then dont come....ITS NOT WORTH IT IF UR GONNA BITCH ABOUT IT! NO PRESENT FOR YOU! hahaha and she said, "WHATEVER!" chuckled and went on with her business....wow...no feelings what so ever!

the birds and the bees

my department at work is composed of mostly girls. for the most part our personalities are pretty much the same, except for one girl. she's 27 years old, very VERY introverted, and basically not experienced in life. and when i mean not experienced i mean NOT EXPERIENCED IN ANYTHING AT ALL. she doesnt go out EVER, she still looks like she's 12, and all day long she calls us girls CRAZY for the things we say or do. and she says that she'll do everything when she's 30...why? dont ask me. oh and she just started driving THIS YEAR. by the way, she graduated at UCSD BUT LIVES IN NATIONAL CITY! her mom was her chaufer. oh but dont get me wrong, we still like her. everyday we try to get her to try new things but she just refuses to everything. i dunno if you guys get the picture, but there you go. oh oh and my favorite, out of the 11 people in my department (7 of which are girls) I AM NUMBER 3 ON HER MOST CRAZIEST PEOPLE LIST! WTF! REALLY?

ok so like last week, this other girl in my department bought a glamour magazine for her. kind of as a joke but at the same time in a serious way, just so that she could learn a thing or two about stuff in general, be it fashion, make-up, and....sex! the ironic thing was there was an article about "THE 30 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TURN 30". (http://www.glamour.com/sexmen/articles/2006/12/sexage30) and being the really innocent girl that she is, she was too embarassed to read it. so today, i take matters into my own hands and READ IT OUT LOUD TO HER. mind you i made sure it was only the girls in the room and none of the guys were present. wow she freaked out. the other girls just kept laughing, cuz well, if you read the article, it is kinda embarrassing to read that out loud. besides we think that she likes the attention.

after finishing the article or "story time" as i liked to call it, she asked one of the girls, "so when you do have a boyfriend, HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO IT?" IM NOT KIDDING SHE SAID THAT TODAY!!!! and im thinking in my head, she must think we're a bunch of sex addicts or something. thank god one of the girls kindly explained to her the many things wrong in that question and set her straight. little do the rest of the girls know that...ahem..im still chillin' with the "V SQUAD". a couple hours later the girl as well as some of the other people left for the day and me and the rest of the girls in my department started talking about her reaction to the article and brought up the point that OMG I BET YOU SHE THINKS THAT we're a bunch of sluts and the other girls did agrees. then i kindly told them that my flower was still in tact and they basically called me a liar. i dunno. is it that really that hard to believe that lil old me is still untouched? is it wrong for me to know things about the subject matter just cuz i havent done the deed? I THINK NOT.

i dunno i just thought that it was funny that me and this girl are not soo different yet WAAAAAY DIFFERENT at the same time. i really dont know where im going with this but i just thought it was interesting. believe me, i dont look down on people who are doin it or put myself on some kind of pedastool cuz i havent done it yet. i say if you're doin it..good for you, just be careful. as for me, it'll happen some day. im just not in a hurry. i just hope that the other girl gets a clue cuz as far as we know, we think she doesnt even know what a guys junk looks like...oh GAD SHE'S IN FOR A SURPRISE.

what a feeling..

...i feel like i got shoved into adulthood...ITS GREAT! wow im a dork.

well i started some christmas shopping but i still got a lot more to do. hopefully i can knock it out of the park this sunday with jrew, then watch the charger game.

i have nothing to write about.

pooped...

today was normal work day, but im POOPED. i think i just feel like i had to rush things cuz i was in the other building DOWN THE STREET for a couple hours then i had to WALK BACK to our main building to help finish running the experiments. YES I HAD TO WALK to the other building. oh well, its good exercise. i keep joking around with the managers and asking them if they can get me a golf cart, but because we have to cross a main road they said its a no. damn stoplights. why couldnt they just get the building right beside us? wtf. or better yet, why dont was just move to a bigger building. well i had to leave at 5 cuz i had to go to mass with my mom. then the two of us had dinner at souplantation (or as my department likes to call it, "the plantation"). ha i guess its my attempt to try to cleanse my system of the crappy food i was eating at school.

as for plans for this weekend: i got a dentist appointment tomorrow morning at 8am. wtf was i thinking making it at 8 in the morning ON A SATURDAY? haha i'll just come home and sleep til the afternoon. at least its just for general cleaning. then i'll try to hit the gym. wow now that i have no homework and studying, i have all the time in the world to do everything. speaking of which, maybe i should do my christmas shopping tomorrow. i know what to get my bro, i think i know what to get my dad, but i really dont know what to get my mom yet. oh sorry im just rambling.

ok...besides trying to get back in shape and hitting the gym and going to work, i need to pick up a hobby. got any ideas?

oh what a beautiful day!

this morning i presented my last lab report EVER! overall, it went fine. im pleased. hell, the TA was even understanding of the fact that this was my last thing to do at school. take back that i called him an asshole. he's a good guy.

looking back on the quarter, i met some real descent people that hopefully i'll be able to keep in touch with. lets just keep away from the library though ok guys?! after last year school year, i thought i wasnt gonna be able to find good quality, NORMAL, people again. i guess i lucked out. although i WILL NOT miss going to class every monday and wednesday night, i'll miss the jokes and all the TRUTH talking we do about...AHHEEMM...our favorite topic (girl in skirt), during class. you guys made studying on the weekends bearable.

so i guess with the end of this quarter this means that a whole new world is waiting for me...the life of full fledged adulthood. WOW..me? pay bills? what the crap!
as for post-finals celebrations, nothing has been planned because me and the brother are planning a joint party at the end of the school year. but for now, i just plan on just catching up on some kind of social life with all the people i havent seen in so long. oh oh and GO SHOPPING!!! YAY!!!!
